AboutSince 2024 · Colombo

Built here,
for here.

We watched talented sellers run real businesses through WhatsApp threads and Instagram DMs not by choice, but because every platform they tried was built for somewhere else. So we built the one that wasn't.

01 — The story

The tools were wrong, not the businesses.

Gannako started in 2024 with a recurring pattern: small businesses wanted to move online, but Shopify didn't speak PayHere, WooCommerce needed a developer on call, and both billed in unpredictable USD.

Orders lived in chat histories. Stock lived in someone's head. Every delivery meant three phone calls. The businesses were good — the software wasn't built for them.

We set out to marry world-class storefront design with hyper-local plumbing: Koko, Mintpay, PayHere, cash on delivery and local couriers as first-class citizens, with the bill in rupees.

How we build.

02 — Principles

Local first, not localized later

Koko, PayHere, cash on delivery and local couriers aren't integrations we bolted on — they're the foundation the platform was designed around.

NotA global template with a currency dropdown.

Predictable in rupees

Priced in LKR, billed in LKR. The free plan stays free, and you always know next month's number before it arrives.

NotA USD bill that moves with the exchange rate.

Boring reliability

Inventory that doesn't oversell. Payments that reconcile themselves. Software for your livelihood should be uneventful.

NotHeroics, incidents and midnight reconciliations.

Support that answers

Your timezone, your language. Real answers in minutes — from people who know the platform, not a script.

NotA ticket queue in another timezone.
