Our Story
Gannako started in 2024 when we noticed a recurring problem: small businesses in Sri Lanka wanted to move online, but Shopify and WooCommerce were either too complex, didn't support local payment gateways perfectly, or were priced in unpredictable USD.
Many sellers resorted to managing orders via WhatsApp and Instagram DMs—a chaotic and unscalable process.
We set out to build a platform that married world-class, premium design with hyper-local functionality. A platform where Koko, Mintpay, PayHere, and local delivery partners were first-class citizens.
